A New Proof of Triangle Congruence and a Novel Elimination Method

Abstract

This paper presents a new approach to proving triangle congruence. It begins by deriving a system of equations, then shows that this system has exactly one solution within the positive numbers — the central result of the work. Previously, only systems of linear equations could be handled in this way; here a different class of system is addressed, which is not a linear system. The paper then introduces a new elimination method.
