Abstract
This paper examines possible approaches to solving general quintics and polynomials of higher degree. I aim to demonstrate that every quintic is associated with an auxiliary cubic equation, and to set out a method for deriving a general quintic together with the possible forms of its auxiliary cubic equation. I further propose that the same approach can be applied to generate higher-degree polynomials.
Keywords: radical solution of general quintics and other higher degree polynomials, disproof of Abel’s impossibility theorem, formula solutions of irreducible quintics.
